1.a) Read the text about Bart Simpson



Bart Simpson is a famous TV star. He is eleven years old. He lives in Springfield with his family: his mum Marge, his dad Homer and his sisters Liza and Maggie.

Every day Bart and his sisters get up at 7 o’clock. They always have breakfast at 7.30, Liza has coffee and toast for breakfast and Bart has eggs, bacon, sausages and tea. Maggie Liza and Bart go to school at 8 o’clock and Maggie stays at home with Marge. Homer goes to work by car.

At 12.30 Liza and Bart go home to have lunch. Bart likes pasta, steak and pizza but he doesn’t like fruit or vegetables. Liza loves vegetables and fruit but she doesn’t like pasta. Poor mum! She never knows what to cook. She doesn’t cook fish or chicken because they don’t like it. They always drink water or orange juice with meals.

Every day after school Liza does her homework and Bart watches TV or visits his friends. Liza likes listening to music or playing the saxophone. Bart likes writing on the computer.

In the evening all the family has dinner together at 6.30, they brush their teeth, they put on their pyjamas and they go to bed.
